The Neverending Story Plot Summary:

Rich with symbolism, “The Neverending Story” is a classic children's
tale designed to teach young people to come of age emotionally. The
lessons are painless for they are couched in fantastical imagery and
wild tales of adventure.
Written originally in German by a German author, the story is an
important contribution to literature because it addresses the dangers of
tyranny. While Adolf Hitler and his Nazis are not directly mentioned in
the story, the tale nonetheless reveals an understanding of the
emotionally stunted mindset that leads dictators to hunger for power.
Through the character of young Bastian Balthazar Bux, the reader gains
an intuitive understanding of how life's tragedies can lead one to
commit atrocious acts.

About The Go-Go Joes:

The Go-Go Joes are a new rock band that got together in the summer of
'06. It started when Guitarist Sam Lasko got a drum set in his basement,
wich sparked drummer Tyler Gontero's lost talent for drums. After this,
the duo started regularly getting together for jam sessions. The thought
of a band was rolling around in their heads. This is when they recruited
bassist and long time friend, Kevin Bjerre. This new band was named the
Accused. The three musicians formed a practice schedule, and started off
with covers like Paranoid by Black Sabbath. And House of the Rising sun
by the Animals. Plus a couple of Sam Lasko's originals, such as "hellz
freezin over" and the popular " If You Die in Heaven". Around this time
was when Lasko's Uncle Jim came into town. Being a song writer and long
time musician himself, Jim decided to help the Accused record their
first set, wich is the one you hear on myspace. After the first semester
of school started, the Joes started looking into places to play. Lasko
suggested they do the Rock School, wich was a six week period of time
where you would be asigned a rock school coach. The band would then form
a set and perform at the local Kent Stage. The Accused signed up for the
gig. But by the time that they entered rock school, they had came to be
known as the Go-Go Joes. This was Lasko's 4th time entering rock school,
and the band decided they needed another guitarist, so the Joes
recruited Guitarist Shawn Cline for the job(Lasko and Cline had attended
previous rock schools together in a different band). Now at this time,
the Joes' "Out of rock school" Second guitarist, was Kevin Alspach, but
with the genious behind Lasko's writing, and the musical vibe of Cline's
solos, plus the the gut wrenching fills from Gontero, and the heart
thumping bass from Bjerre, the Joes decided to add Kline to their
permanent list and unfortunately drop Alspach. Now the Joes are a
thriving and budding rock band in the city of Kent Ohio.

About the Band:

JOHN JAKES MOSE is the name of an exciting new band that features a
diverse range of musical styles and highly textured instrumentation.
Created by Ron Ciarniello and Emily Parker, shortly after meeting as
graduate students at Kent State University, the band has gone on to play
numerous coffee houses and clubs in the Cleveland, Akron, and Kent areas
in Ohio. Ron developed his skills as a founding member of "The Reason,"
a powerhouse quartet that gained popularity in Cleveland and Kent
throughout a better part of the 1990's. Emily contributes a unique
sensibility to the group based on her musical and rural upbringing and
her degree in music from Heidelberg College. Mix in bassist Don Miller
with his aggressive bass lines and smooth harmony vocals and you get the
distinct sound and experience that is "John Jakes Mose.

The band's first album was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee at "Secret Sound Studios" (Ronnie Milsap, Jars of Clay) and proved to be a very clean-sounding vehicle for the quirky songwriting talents of Ciarniello and Parker. "John Jakes Mose" added drummer Ron Hiss, and recently released their new album "Out of Sorts," a 10 song journey that forges various emotions and styles together into a cohesive whole. From soothing to angry, acoustic to fuzz-filled, "Out of Sorts" will tear down all your old conceptions and, from the broken pieces or Sorts, build something new.
